Dr. Olwen Murphy is a consultant neurologist at TUH. She completed her specialist training as a neurologist in Ireland, followed by fellowships at Johns Hopkins Hospital in neuroimmunology, and vestibular and ocular motor neurology. Following her training, she worked as a consultant neurologist at Johns Hopkins Hospital (USA).

Her subspecialty interests include multiple sclerosis, neuroimmunology, and vestibular neurology. She runs a specialised clinic at TUH for patients with multiple sclerosis and other neuroimmune/neuroinflammatory disorders such as neurosarcoidosis, autoimmune encephalitis, and transverse myelitis. She also runs a general neurology clinic.

Her research interests include clinical and imaging biomarkers in multiple sclerosis and other neuroimmune disorders.
