ICT Department Structure
The ICT Department is structured under the following teams: ICT Service Desk ICT Infrastructure Services Innovation & Project Delivery The Project Management Office provides the Hospital with a Project Management service as well as providing best practice guidance and standard methodology. The team covers all aspects of projects, from consultancy and developing business cases, to implementing business change. Interfacing/Integration which oversees the transmission of data electronically internally and externally. Health Analytics Applications Portfolio Management Each of these five areas work in close cooperation to ensure ICT support and expertise is available to Hospital staff. ICT Department Introduction
Information delivery is crucial to health professionals and patients for the delivery of their care. The ICT Department at Tallaght University Hospital provides a range of ICT services to support and enable patient care. We believe the demand for easy access to shared data, applications, flexible communication methods and a responsive support team are key to integrated patient care. By working in partnership with Hospital staff, patients, external health professionals and agencies ICT can better understand current and future needs, identify and implement the correct solutions in partnership with clinical staff.
