Education & ExperienceMs Smyth graduated with honours from University College Dublin in 2005. She undertook her basic and higher surgical training through the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completed her FRCS(Urol) in 2014. In 2017, she was awarded the British Association of Urology (BAUS) Subspecialty Fellowship in Female Urology in Leicester, United Kingdom, where she developed a special interest in the management of urinary incontinence, urological reconstruction and pelvic organ prolapse. Ms Smyth worked as a Consultant Urologist in the Female, Functional and Reconstructive Urology department of the prestigious University College London Hospital (UCLH). Upon returning to Ireland in 2019, she was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon in Tallaght and St. James’s University Hospitals. She is a member of the Irish Society of Urology (ISU).
