A graduate of NCI with a honours degree in Software Systems in 2004
Completed a diploma in Emergency Medical Technology from UCD in 2005
Graduate of University of Wales (Cardiff and Swansea Schools of Medicine) with honours in 2010
Postgraduate cert in Sexual Assault Forensic Examination from UCD in 2015
Masters of Health Sciences (Clinical Education) with honours from NUIG in 2016

Experience

Previously worked for two years in front-line HSE ambulance service as a paramedic. Completed paediatric specialist training in Ireland and undertook a fellowship including GRID training in paediatric emergency medicine in Birmingham Children’s Hospital, UK and Leicester Royal Infirmary, UK for two and a half years. Appointed consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine in Tallaght University Hospital in 2019.
