Achievements, research, publication and teaching
I have completed M.D. (Doctor in Medicine by thesis), Trinity College Dublin, University of Dublin. I have a great deal of publication including: peer-reviewed articles (24); abstract and conference publications (12); non-peer reviewed publications (6) and CPD module (1). I have presented my work in international Scientific Meetings (3) and National Scientific Meeting (7).
I am currently involved as a sub-investigator in clinical study in subjects with cystic fibrosis: A Phase 3, Rollover Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of Long-termTreatment with Lumacaftor in Combination With Ivacaftor.
It is believed that clinical teaching lies at the heart of medical education. I have been actively involved in clinical teaching; such as lectures, tutorials, bedside teaching and outpatient clinical teaching, for example. I am actively involved as examiner in postgraduate examination (such as paediatric MRCPI clinical and part-two MRCPI paediatrics written exam, RCPI). I am also actively involved in teaching and examinaining undergraduate students, Trinity College Dublin
